What is First Love Prayer Ministry?

Because every one of our stories is unique, healing and freedom require a unique approach to each person. Some people may think they need spiritual warfare to achieve the freedom they desire, but with further investigating, what they actually need is help filling in maturity gaps from their childhood. Some people may think they need help building maturity, but they really need inner healing in areas where they feel stuck. While there are several components that make up our First Love Prayer Ministry, some of the key ones are: inner healing, spiritual warfare, teachings like identity in Christ and walking after the Spirit, as well as Life Model methods in growing maturity and capacity. Oftentimes it is a combination of most or all of these areas that people need in order to move forward.

What can I expect in a typical session?
First Love Prayer Ministry is a combination of inner healing prayer sessions and other practical tools to help followers of Jesus walk in the freedom He intended for them. We use the Immanuel Prayer model designed by Dr. Jim Wilder and Dr. Karl Lehman to help people experience healing from painful memories that continue to affect them today. Beyond Immanuel Prayer, we help others address ways they have given the enemy permission to affect their lives through spiritual warfare. We also use the teaching from Life Model Works to help individuals grow in their maturity and joy.
Who can benefit from it?
Everyone! We all have areas that need growth and freedom. Below are some examples of someone who might make these sessions more of a priority:
Anyone who feels stuck in unwanted cycles
Anyone who is struggling with hurt/ unforgiveness
Anyone with a lack of capacity to handle life
Anyone who feels like their mind is constantly bombarded with negative thoughts
Anyone wanting to connect more with God but feel like they can’t
What sort of commitment is required?
Sessions last between 1-1.5 hours. Sessions are offered in person (depending on your location) or via Zoom. We find Zoom calls to be just as effective as in-person meetings, so don’t let distance deter you! During the sessions, plan to be completely free of distractions. Your focus and attention are very important.
